Yeah. If you don't like a response don't respond back to it. On the internet there's no requirement to.

I reckon you could port this to run on c64 basic quite easily. You'd probably only need to swap the rotate2d and dot functions with something else for it to work. It'd make for a fun weekend project. As for how fast it would run o

Also, without the verbal intonation of speech it can be quite difficult to not misinterpret the emotional sentiment of what's written online. It's for that reason emojis were invented and are useful.

Obviously everyone should aim to be civil online, but at the same time if someone does become abusive when you're speaking anonymously online I would suggest you shouldn't take offence easily. There are many radically differing vi

In a sense houses are simulations, shopping malls are simulations, even clothes are simulations. Mostly in order to make our lives warmer or otherwise more pleasant than being naked and hungry outside in the cold. Almost all of the environm

Of all the debuggers I've ever used, I'm most keen on the one that's part of openMSX as you can rewind time in the emulation with it to see how the registers and system ram came to have the values they do. It's been a wh

MAME's debugger is pretty neat. Added to the fact that MAME supports most CPU types ever used in an arcade machine or computer and it's like having super powers.

Not entirely. It appears glibc as a whole is being security audited at present and these CVEs are visible symptoms of the process. Have the auditors tried looking at musl libc? It seems a lot less convoluted from what I've seen so may

So glibc's qsort doesn't sort arrays of items when fed nonsense input? No kidding. Of course it won't. But reading off the end of the array is concerning. At a higher level, who's misusing qsort in this way? I'd say

Is getting the ship across the canal even necessary when we're talking about shipping containers? a Flotilla of smaller ships for just a few containers could be used in a continuous convoy.

Can't the canal authorities reduce the water used somehow? If you paired up ships so that one going up the lock system is matched with one going down you could just pump the water back and forth from one lock to the other and back. The

At the time it was claimed that it was dual licenced both with the original licence and GPLv2. So presumably if and only if you were wanting to sell modified versions the source code to them must be made available. It seems the GPLv2 lice
