It was bound to happen eventually. Big projects like Chromium tend to move slowly so it will probably be a few years before any Rust code ends up in a shipped release. But this is a great start!

BCH changed the blocksize and thus became incompatible with the original network. If you're claiming that the project that kept the blocksize the same and remained backwards compatible is the fork, then I'm done here and I wish yo

You're both already explaining the reasoning through your wording, "present BTC chain" and "potential forks". If you fork a project, even if yours becomes more popular, that doesn't mean you get to take over th

LN enables economy of scale. Imagine a future where the majority of txs use lightning (L2), and on-chain (L1) txs are much more rare. One L1 tx may cost 1mBTC. Or if you use L2, a node might charge you and 999 other people 0.001mBTC to rout

Probably because this isn't a new take, we've all heard the same theory many times before. Right now transaction fees are in the pennies. If the price goes up, maybe they'll become tens of pennies or even dollars--I don'

It might not have a lot to do with price. The Solana network itself is too fragile to handle a liquidation like this. They're trying to keep the network from crashing. Needless to say, the network has one job, and it keeps failing mise

Let's go back to cats. Since macOS is becoming more and more like iOS, we don't have to limit ourselves to big cats anymore. Small cats are on the table too. There's gotta be at least 100 cat breeds, that should last us a whi

Did you just read a marketing blurb on their landing page and decide after 5 seconds they don't do unit testing? I guess we can also assume they don't brush their teeth every morning because they didn't mention that either.

If you're requesting data over a network, ultimately you have to trust someone. Fwiw bunny.net is pretty well respected. I view them as one level "below" the mega-enterprise CDNs like Cloudfront/Akamai, the same way Digi
