I wonder how this argument is not applied to prostitution, drugs and other illegal things.

I think you're pretty clueless to make that claim, they bought something, not stole, and one out of the 3 core contributors (who is also the original creator or the project) agreed. You should form an opinion based on logic and facts,

Tested a few agentic browsers such as genspark, fellou and comet. I found the vision approach less effective comparing to the dom-based approach, and seem quite slower too. Does it need a reasoning step to type an url into the address bar?

I know, I specifically bought an S10e few years ago just for that (it worked on the s10 series too), but they had a special version of Ubuntu and all the repos were down so kinda useless. The Kali thing is also just a chroot image (if roote

maybe a system prompt to tell it to do checkpoints. Stash is one way, another is jujutsu with git backend. If this was Claude Code then hooks would be the perfect place to put that logic.

I remember when React api was unique, then it comes up with some idea (hooks) and other front-end frameworks copied it, that's like confirmation that the idea is crap.

"AI started actively breaking working code" is vibe coding talk, you should monitor what it does and undo at the step that breaks. I've been able to do that just by prompting "undo last step/<specific action>&

What's wrong with that? If they re-implement the whole thing it would amount to the same code size. It's the JDT language SERVER not some sort of "headless" software with UI needlessly bundled. https://marketp

Would be cool if I can use this with opencode, Amazon Q or whatever. I reckon the logic would be quite similar. Seen a few of these tools but they're all Claude-centric.

not all code is a React component. And enforcing one component per file is just gonna encourage bloated components (because who likes heaps of tiny files?). I would not cite every front-end convention as an inspiration for sensible engineer

Of course it can but I think the issue is that people may try to jailbreak it or do something funny to get a weird response, then post of x.com against the company. There must be techniques to turn LLMs into a FAQ forwarding bot, but then w

I find it's rather annoying that I specifically made the point that namespace allows grouping things and you just "psst have you heard of ...modules"? Just create a new file for every group of thing? That's nice, do you

do we want to make "vibe code" the umbrella term for llm, agents or even AI assisted software engineering? I think not.

I use the TUI for a lot of agentic stuff that is not necessarily coding, from performing some cloud management commands or just dumb things like "where the hell did I alias vim to nvim?". For those things, having to reach out to t

Claude Code is what it is because of Claude, TUI or not isn't really the point. What makes IDEs lose to TUIs is that the agentic models can really do more than coding and is evolving toward a hands-off kind of workflow. A clunky IDE is

When I was a student about 10 years ago there was a custom shell that works like this and even had an extension for sublime, but for the life of me I cannot remember its name.
