It does, but headlines like these are a distraction from the actual facts. All it takes is a series of half-truths to form a false narrative that doesn't serve anyone constructively. With an ineffective law enforcement, parts of India

As many comments have pointed out, no kids are locked up. The police went to their school and questioned them. I am not debating whether it is wrong or immoral to question minors without their parents present or the nature of the charges, H

Not interrogated at police station. The police went to the school. No kid is detained or under arrest. They are free to go but they probably don't know that, being kids. Is is morally wrong? Yes. But the article is click-bait.

It's a cool idea. However, I personally like not glancing over user karma just to avoid bias. On Slashdot, for instance, I subconsciously assigned higher credibility to posts made by smaller (numeric) ids. The new reddit has it too.

Hinduism calls it Karma yoga[1] - the path of selfless action. It is portrayed in no way inferior to other approaches. Do you work well with passion without attachment towards results. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

It may be a little exaggerated (or not, depending on who you ask), but I think they're referring to the 1971 Bangladesh genocide. The US was largely complicit on this due to their favorable foreign policy towards Pakistan at that time.

How much of this because we're so litigious in the US? Yes, corporations should be held accountable for their actions, but we like to sue them for disproportionate amounts for damages. They'd rather waste food than donate and risk

See my point about desensitization. If you live in India and want to remain sane, you have to develop a barrier. Kind of the barrier you develop in the west pretending to not know where or how your hamburger was made.

This is why the tipping system in the US is absurd. The whole "you must tip because they get paid peanuts" argument is a circular logic. How about making sure that the worker gets paid fairly by their employer and customers can th

The chief complaint seems to be the lack of internal storage, but the phone has an SD slot that supports cards up to 32GB while his shiny iPhone 8 has exactly 0 GB expandable storage.
