> Occult Flash Tag (Android) Sadly this seems abandoned and it seems to have been removed from the Play Store. It's also not on F-Droid, even though it does seems to have a Git repo on Github.

You're confusing static typing with the existence of a type system. As an example, Julia has a rich type system, but the language is dynamically typed.

So you're just gonna spin their story as if it were fact? Surely you understand that liberland.org can't be an unbiased or reliable source on the "Liberland" scam.

The whole Liberland micronation project was just a ridiculous publicity stunt and scam from the start. 1. The "unclaimed territory" story is a blatant lie. 2. The land in question (Gornja Siga) is a floodplain. It gets completely

"Prefer composition over inheritance" is actually a well-known mantra and appears in, for example, the Design Patterns book from 1994, which is basically the OOP bible. And this is within the OOP bubble, you won't even find

I was going by the fact that tenth edition Unix was released on 1989, while Plan 9 was first released in 1992: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research_Unix Pehaps this is misleading.

Research Unix wasn't easily available, AFAIK Bell Labs were trying to sell it as a product, so it lost to more free alternatives. It only got open-sourced recently AFAIK, years after being abandoned.

One of the big issues with Wayland is the (intentional) fragmentation. Each "Wayland compositor" is really its own window system, with its own peculiarities. This forces applications that would have been trivial to implement on X

No. The Wayland design is crap through-and-through. To a large extent it was intentionally meant to break things, what with its insane security model ideas. It's not just a matter of "getting the wrinkles ironed out".

Because window managers don't exist on Wayland. What used to be a window manager is now an entire display server. Talk about well-designed.

Note that some of those look worse than they would if taken today, because FP4 used to have an issue where some interface wasn't made available for third-party camera apps to use.
