I think your point is basically that you want human law to be as clear, definite, unambiguous as scientific theories or mathematical proofs should be. I think this makes you an extremist legal formalist/textualist. Firstly, I think you

I think a constitution is meant to be broadly worded so it would not have to be changed often, though. Are you proposing to make the constitution just a regular old law?

Consider a hypothetical religion that has worship which consists of something criminal (i.e. adherents kill for their god or something). I don't know the legal justification, but their freedom of religion would surely be trumped by my

I missed any mention of the potential of some psychedelics for triggering mental illnesses (psychosis, etc.) in some people. I try not to judge users, but I think it is best to dodge the risk and not mess with your mind until science knows

A bit off-topic question: why do people use "parsing" instead of "lexing" or "tokenization" for denoting the analysis of strings from regular languages; considering lexing is just a trivial sub-case of parsing

You are oversimplifying. Both of the languages being Turing-complete does not imply Rust being as good a choice for talking to hardware as C is. What I am getting at is: the imaginary Rust replacement for Linux may have ten times as much co

That is why I said "Linux-like". Redox has a microkernel design, which presumably makes writing the drivers in Rust much easier at the expense of some throughput and latency.

You have no proof that writing a Linux-like kernel in Rust would result in fewer bugs, or even that it is feasible at all (what with writing even linked lists being difficult).
