The insight here is something like C++ might be more amenable to Co-Pilot help due to the sheer volume of C++ code out there. In essence, this might turn out to make C++ a lot more usable with AI Co-Pilots than something like Python (which

Huh. SAP/HANA single handedly raising the bar on large memory machines. It seems to support distributed computation but maybe the administrators just prefer to run a single gigantic box. SAP and it's ecosystem truly a tax on corp

Pluralsight seemed to be very .NET/Microsoft focused. As the developer winds shifted after from pure Microsoft stack, the value of their library seemed to have dropped quite a bit. Not surprising.

Is the recursive sum the best function to show multi-threading or GPU speedups? Seems unlikely. FWIW, i ported the python example to Julia and it ran in about 2.5 seconds the same as the C++ version. Pure python 3.12 took 183 seconds. f

It's true that PE firms cannot be trusted with a SaaS product. It is also true that most SaaS companies are not profitable for the service they provide at the revenue they derive. This reset, which we will see a lot of since the entire

First thing to remember is C++ is very much a "live" language going through enhancements and the majority of the hardcore engineering still happens in C++ (real-time, AI, Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, CUDA etc..).

Just waiting for someone to write a 5000 word essay on why they are moving from Rust to do data science stuff. Totally puzzled by everyone trying to get on to the Rust bandwagon on DS/DE, when being able to iterate and make changes fas
