Good for you. I can't sleep sitting on plane. The only times I've been able to to sleep is (1) getting a free upgrade to 1st class where I could lie down (2) a mostly empty plane where I could stretch out across three seats.

Agree. Also, plently of people at Google, Meta, etc feel they are doing good by providing free ads based services. I suspect people with low income are way better off with free search, free maps, free docs than if each was $3 a month. It do

My friends with young kids 3-11 all let their kids use iPads. All of the kids seem well adjusted, able to read (a worry I saw), etc. I have no idea what limits they have but the kids are social, they don't hide on their iPad when peopl

Documentation is not a complete fix. So you have 1000 pages of documentation. Which page has the answer to your question? At work you ask your coworker with more experience "Can you tell me how X works?" and get an answer immediat

it's not a trivial thing to fix. It took apple, Mozilla, and google years to refsctor their broswers to isolate user code in its own process and then effiently ipc all services to other processes. chrome started with that but also star

I'm kind of with you on this. I probably didn't read enough details but it sounds like a library that abstracted over shared types arrays would already do all of this or at least solve the same problem. I'd rather see binary
