I think github is an example of those. 9 of 10 integrations just ask for blanket permissions. Effectively, "give us permissions to edit and make commits to all of your repos, and every other possible thing that's possible to do on

I always find these categories frustrating. A Link to the Past and Chrono Trigger do not belong in the same category. In the first, you have action fights that require quick hand-eye coordination and skilled reflexes. In the 2nd you just ch

I'm working on 250k LoC TS project. It's instant during dev. We don't bundle during dev so the server just has to compile which ever files changed.

This isn't about consumer choice in phones. It's about business access to markets. It's why it's called the "Digital Markets Act".

I'm a little confused what this means in practice vs what's there now. I can add a CCard to my apple wallet and make it the default payment method. Does that involve Apple? I can also add public transportation passes and choose w

I've played plenty of mobile games designed for touch that were fun. They are different than console and PC but they were still fun. I play "Doug Dug" almost every day. I played Pixa (same devs). I thought they did a great jo

My feeling is, if most of Apple's employees are almost all not using the thing then it's a failure. I suspect 98% of all Apple employees use a iPhone, a Mac, and probably an iPad, and an Apple TV. I bet < 2% use a Vision Pro.

Maybe my confusion was you wrote VR/AR instead of just AR. Though even then, while visually the Vision Pro does better then the Quest 3 at AR, the interactions leave a lot to be desired. AR (and VR) make me want to reach out and touch

AFAIK Yamanote Line is not the oldest line. Maybe oldest still in service? There's a train statue at Shimbashi station that I believe commemorates the first line in Japan to/from Yokohama https://en.m.wikipedia.org/
