I did a test drive of a bunch of EVs, and Hyundai makes the Ioniq which I was referencing. I found that the ford mustang EV and Ioniq had about a %20 worse driving experience than a several year old tesla model 3 LR, and tesla did have a bu

It's because he knows that those things are relative commodities, and in 5 or 10 years the rest of the industry will eventually catch up in every single way. Hyundai and ford are pretty much %80 of the way there already.

That is so typical apple, penny pinching on compensation and worker experience with things like mandatory office commutes and charging for food. I've heard they've changed their tune recently at least comp wise, is that true?

It's because those markets are tiny compared to the bigger markets that they focus the company on, which is why they slowly drifted away from their focus on it. The HDR [0] youtuber creator machine they created with the new macbook p

It's a save-the-budget kind of thing. By showing that we don't need X or can delay buying Y for 1 year, saved the company from $ZZ million dollars of spend. It might not be stopping other people from working, but it is praised.

I find when amazon doesn't show what I want when I get specific, it's because they don't really sell it. When they do, it matches pretty close or 1:1 fairly quickly. Also notice they're not good about items that have a

All I want is a roadmap to ever increasing tiers of storage, like google, so I know if I need to, I don't need to do a big migration once my life history gets too big. Good to know about the hack.

Now will they offer icloud tiers over 2tb next, like google does? Will icloud be actually usable for 3rd party apps outside of ios without constant reauth?

As someone who loses his keys a lot, air tags are a lifesaver. Also they're actually designed to last a long time being simple devices, with water proofing and battery replacability. I foresee using them until they break at this rate,

People become despondent because they effectively can't do anything practical, so to live their life they ignore it. It's the same thing with privacy.

IMO your most likely to find 'lifer' types at a FAANG than many others. Job-hopping usually stops becoming an easy promo system once you've hit staff anyway.

If water weight is the case, you can dehydrate the meat already? Beyond / impossible burger is shipped wet, and most unprocessed raw plant food is shipped wet too.

Vegetable or edible plant food is a bit of splitting hairs, they require the same kind of agricultural land that can sustain vegetable crops. Looking at the ingredient list of beyond burger, it's mostly grain and vegetable based, and

I buy ethically raised %100 pasture raised ground beef at ~$6/lbs from whole foods, and a 1 lb packet of "beyond burger" is even more expensive than that at $11/lbs (!) at the same shop. There is barely any profit margi

The thing is, this stuff is more expensive than normal meat, and if you go by bio availability of the nutrients, a fraction of the same nutritional value as actual meat. And if they replace meat consumption then it puts even more stress o

This is an american problem and an american choice that started with white flight in the 50s and a lack of investment into public transit to make it you don't need a car in the city. Many other countries do cities correctly, for cheape

Accelerated graphics was painful when doing macOS on macOS until macOS 13. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets added now in the future with virutalization.framework if they haven't done so already.

Virtualization is basically an API library (Virtualization.framework) from apple's perspective where they expect others to make programs to manage it, so not so surprising from that perspective.

You see constant EV road trip comparison videos and consistently see how bad EV chargers hamper the non-tesla cars, while the tesla chargers are consistently reliable. Go look around in the news and more.
