Yikes, the font on that website is incredibly distracting. Hard enough that I went and downloaded Readability for Chrome just to get through the article. Reading more than a sentence caused my eyes to sort of glaze over and even when trying

We use CloudBerry Backup for Linux Ultimate on a couple servers with great success. Initial setup was a little bumpy and we had to reach out to support, who was responsive and resolved our issue on the first reply. After that it has chugged

Absolutely, we could all use a bit more focus on health in our life. I'm the same way; the extent of my exercise is taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and my girlfriend dragging me to a running trail on the weekend.

Another user suggested using Ethereum smart contracts for this. I'm not terribly familiar with Ethereum, but I wonder if the contract could be designed to automatically forward to a Charity-held wallet, or even the wallet of a reputabl

I found Papers, Please to be a really fascinating game. I've been on a indie binge lately (Firewatch is another recent favorite) and I felt Papers, Please had a really great story that a lot of indie games are missing. Plenty of option

I spent a lot of time researching VPNs and trying to find one I felt like I could trust. Unfortunately, if you're being truly paranoid (which I feel everyone whose considering a VPN should be) there's nobody out there you can trus

Anecdotally, a family member that regularly travels with their small dog experiences much less scrutiny. Most times they're asked to hold the dog in it's crate and walk through the basic metal detector instead of a full-body scann

I wonder if this change breaks the extension, ha. I can appreciate the flexibility you're offered even with the A-list clientele you have. In a world of "move fast and break things" I've re-worked that into my own mantra

Has Wikileaks ever published a bad leak? I'm not talking about their write-ups and descriptions -- which I sometimes find sensationalized -- but the raw data. I don't remember any instances where they have published falsified info

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for. I appreciate the openness! In a perfect world engineers would have to request elevated permissions from a manager/team lead to query tables holding financial information, but in our un-per

If anyone from Penny is still around, I have a question. In using the app an error occurred and Penny apologized and said someone would look at it shortly. About 15 minutes later I got an email from an engineer saying my request got caught

This is really neat; having just signed up I'm yet to see how useful it actually turns out to be. I'm really happy to see startups using Plaid. I tinkered with building a budgeting app (think Simple's Goals feature but for an

This is really neat as a technical demo. What's your anticipated real-world use for something like this? My first thought was that it would be fantastic in a case where I needed to pull a file off a server I was SSHd into but didn&#x27

AvE is one of my favorite YouTubers. Always a learning experience with him. Similarly, bigclivedotcom[1] does almost exclusively electronics teardowns. Usually cheap gadgets from Chinese eBay sellers. A lot less profanity than AvE too, haha

From a quick glance, this seems woefully insecure. Incrementing "user" by 1 yields (what I assume to be) someone else's export. If you have any private snippets you would like to keep private, using this exporter would be a b
