Being Germany, that means it only takes six months to properly register a startup? :)

How good or bad are LLMs on languages that have evolved over the years and aren't popular enough to get hand tuned? Asking because for non programming, if you use them instead of a wiki for a topic that has had yearly changes for like

I run transmission on a headless box and only open the remote GUI for it once in a while. Can other bittorrent clients do that out of the box?

Is that before memory leaks or after? Also, I don't think Apple should be commended for using "only" 250 Mb of ram for that.

Maybe when they're new. In time they tend to learn the shortcuts that the apps don't show and ignore navigation here and there.

Yep, good question. It should be able to still do Doyle anywhere, for example. Also it should detect that you're in the EU/UK and allow Orwell. And I'm only mentioning authors that have their entire work in the public domain.

Most of the time the legitimat web-design reason for user hostile behaviour is marketing/monetizing/spyware. Morally legitimate, you ask? :)

It almost never happens. And when it does it may be some other broken calculation. But I did run into sites that I can only guess did their layout based on the whole window and had stuff go under the tree style tab.

I use Firefox with a vertical tabs extension open all the time. Occasionally (rarely, mind) I run into sites that don't bring their full content into view unless I hide the tabs list. Guess they think like the OP.

Hope you didn't preorder GTA 6 then :) Or any Rockstar game on PC since Max Payne 3, for that matter... Or Ubisoft titles etc etc.

Oh thanks. My local ISP insists on pppoe even for business lines. I like the unifi APs but then using their gateways is a no-no.

Sad. A little more cheap colour correction and grading and we'll be back to b&w movies.

I asked Google Gemini to generate me a basic expense estimator to paste in ... Google Sheets. Every single formula needed editing. At least it generated the basic layout for me.
