Based on the number of people who are absolutely certain he wouldn't be involved, the circumstantial evidence suggesting he wasn't, and the lack of any solid evidence that he is, I think the smart bet to place is on this being Swa

The difference is, you don't actually own your CC. You have physical possession yes, you can manage various aspects of it yes, you can even turn it off if you desire - but you don't own it. The bank does. The bank controls the car
