Hello from Finland. Our country produces more wood than we cut. With paper industry going down, I'm sure we are happy to export.

I'd like to note that "groping" is not mentioned in the article. No other touching either. Just that some creep started to make "inappropriate sexual advances" towards the writer. So it seems to be one time unpleasant conversation. I'd hard

You don't have to have a leaf spring in the bow as is custom right now. With spiral spring, a "crossbow" can look more like a big pistol.

I've kind of been waiting for this. This could provoke really interesting renaissance of the crossbow among street gangs. And other deadly melee weapons might get big leaps of progress. There might be a telescopic sword coming or something

If you do that simply by damping wavelengths of speech, you possibly make opportunity to alter the sound of a gun so that it doesn't set the alarm of. Maybe more importantly the sound of a gunfire would not sound like anything familiar to h

Nothing. That's why police usually sends some patrol to the site to check things up. If you would get a signal of multiple assault weapons firing at the same time, you would not send just one patrol. It's not very likely. Unless someone man

How? With multiple shots it's easy as hell. But from one it's quite hard? You could hear the firing pin hitting the cartridge (harder to hear than engine running) then you should hear the gasses exiting barrel somewhere around 0,001 second

The article is just a rant. I came to comments to see something thought provoking. Like deep analysis on the corrupting factor of monopoly or the problems of large corporations. I'm disappointed.

I was little surprised at first about: "three cars behind the truck at an average separation of 6m". But this is probably an idea to lessen drag. It doesn't matter what powers our cars(gasoline, biofuel electricity), less is less, and we ne

That's exactly what George Patton should have said to motivate his troops. So I would not consider his quotations worth anything when considering the benefits of U.S. weaponry.
