If stripes are for insects not biting, then how come some species have developed only partial stripes? Would not make sense to get all the flies to concentrate on your non striped body-parts... Against lions this makes perfect sense as havi

That youtube video is propaganda. Note how almost every single missile fired by f-22 hits, while enemy missiles lose their target constantly. It doesn't tell why U.S. missiles would be better. Also I find the explanation why f-22 would be b

I'd guess that fighter camouflage also makes fighters more harder to track visually from satellites. This might not interest Americans, but for some air forces it could be a factor?

One of the biggest threads to a fighter is another fighter flying above it. From the upper guys perspective everything is moving and everything below is green/grey/brown or dark blue. At the same time stealth technology is rising and using

Serious CAD could be for example: AutoCAD, Solid Edge, pro/e, Catia, microstation just to name few. ArchiCad doesn't fit my needs as it's practically only for visualizing buildings. Last time I tried VariCad it was unusable due to bugs. And

I'm using Windows 7 for CAD. I now use Solid Edge, I used to do AUTOCad and I think I'm headed for Pro/E. I'd like to use anything but Windows, but guess how plentiful are my options to use CAD on other systems? Nonexistent. The economic ni

Thanks for the insight! My original message was just me not understanding your real point. I'm usually little allergic to an attitude like "you can't understand this high magic!", but in this case I must apologize my misunderstanding.

With the same logic it's bad to show a dentist in television doing anything else than playing with peoples teeth. At least he/she should take of the lab-coat before playing guitar or buying coffee. And it must be bad thing to show a cleanin
