I read it more as a senior living facility. Those folks pay out the effing nose, they ought to be allowed to control the temp in their apartment.

I'd rather open it up and remove/destroy just the network card. (I don't have to do so though because my tv is 20 years old.)

The Anubis anime girl is an instant tab close for me, especially while in public. I dont like having to explain to people that I'm not one of those creepy anime guys.

I disable workers. I forgot to do so on my phone. I noticed Firefox had slowed to a friggeb crawl when opening pages. Disabling web workers fixed that.

Sounds like there's a market for ground vegan meat. Obviously it'd have to be very expensive and exclusive. AI powered robots can replace the poors that are too zombified to do their jobs. Think of the pharmaceutical possibilities

I think you're right for most. I think Canada needs to come up with a trade name/standards for their Bourbon-likes.

I too find it really weird. My grandpa was a member of a violent antifascist organization (US Army, 1940s). The US government even awarded him multiple medals for his antifa activities.

The last bit boggles my mind. I'm american. There's not a single bottle of whisky made down here that can compete with Canadian whisky.

I'm in the same boat. Hell, I was given a bunch of old iphones recently, all of which are newer and better hardware than my phone. I wiped them and donated them to charity.

Buying media doesn't mean the creator gets any real money. I've got a friend that was in a fairly popular band decades ago. Their label made millions of dollars off album sales, he made about enough to buy a used Toyota and a micr

Option c: grind him up and mix him in with hamburger. Society saves money on his pension/housing/etc and consumers save a bit on their grocery bill. Didn't Paul Wolfowitz say something about how there will be no more poverty

Integrity is in such short supply, great to hear someone actually keep their word. (I would have been cool with the cake, if he at it all in one setting.)

I complain about Firefox out of hope that the people at Mozilla will pull their heads out of their asses. I dont bother complaining about chrome because I generally do not use it and I certainly don't expect anyone at google to care at

We have the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. I'm not sure how the hell anyone can excersize that right without accurate info from the government.

If I said what I really think should happen to designers and "devs" who fuck with scrolling, dang would have to delete it and ban me. Ublock on Firefox mobile seems to keep scrolling unfucked on this page for me. (Designer/&q

As an american, I'd rather pay than use github's free pages. I'd go with sourcehut's pages @ €4 per month over statichost if I wanted to specifically go EU. (If not I'd go with nearlyfreespeech for $2ish per month.)
