Anyone who's dealt with ultimate guitar will tell you they're bottom feeding scumbags. At least, 100% of the people I know who've dealt with UG feel that way. I wouldn't be shocked at all if suspicious comments were bog

Hell yeah! I've got a Rainbow from the late 1950s. It will probably outlive humanity and cleans better than anything else I've used.

I currently pay $10 per year for email that also lets me send. I can't see paying over double that for half the functionality. Not being able to reply makes this service useless for me. Sometimes you need to be able to reply to support

It wouldn't be a dyson without a shitty design. The only dyson products I've used that didn't suck were their vacuums. (To be clear, their vacuums are shit and do not suck as well as even a cheap shark.)

The guy that bought twitter is a Nazi. To the inevitable down voters, I'm not calling musk a Nazi because I dont like him, I call him a Nazi because he did a friggin' heil Hitler salute.

For Linux users, SELinux's sandbox command works well. (The manual isn't event two printed pages.) I think flatpacks also have some sandboxing. https://www.man7.org/linux/man-pages/man8/sandbox.8.htm

An rc file is a configuration file. Vim has .vimrc and bash has .bashrc For example, some distros add an alias for rm to bashrc to make it ask for confirmation (the -i switch iirc). I didnt know Firefox has one. I can't find any docume

This reflects my whining. Obviously, I hate edge. I dont mention it because useless garbage is what I expect out of microsoft.

Ever screenshot I've seen of ladybird makes me not want to use it. It's too "modern". I need functional software where the text and background aren't the same color.

Re-read the top comment in the link you posted as well as the Mozilla blog post. It says you give Mozilla a license, not ownership of your content. Dont get me wrong, I object to anything and everything they'd be doing that requires a

Plenty of users use the reduced motion option for accessibility reasons. The developer of this page is just an ass for ignoring it. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/A...

There's still seamonkey, lynx, and I think emacs has a browser built in somewhere. Konqueror could be an option.

Scumsuckers at cloudflare buying Firefox would be the final nail for me. Cloudflare is every bit as evil as google or Microsoft.

My x220i w/ i3-2310m and 8gb ddr3 can compile gentoo from a stage 1. Android's build system must be hopelessly fucked to require the specs it does.

I hate low contrast more than most. Setting browser. display. use_document_colors or browser.display.document_color_use to 0 fixes things. It does break some stuff, like voting buttons on hn. Im happy with the tradeoff.
