I just benefited from ZFS boot environments/snaphsots during the update of FreeBSD from 13.2 to 14.0-release. It's a great tool to have at your disposal

macports is great! doesn't get enough love imo. same could be said for pkgsrc I guess. I've used that on other *nix systems; haven't tried it on MacOS yet but the fact it's an option is huge

yes....Android notifications are much better imo. I can respond to texts/whatsapp messages just by swiping down, don't even have to open the app.

hey us too! It was incredibly fast since we were on the uni's internet, and sharing with people all on the same campus. Was getting latest eps of TV shows and a huge variety of music faster than bitorrent was capable of

But it's a private org, they can limit speech how they see fit. Communities need to have rules; if not communities can become pretty toxic, and drive people away who might want to contribute, or even just seek help. By making it clear
