The executive order from Biden very much read that defense will spend billions on AI and that money will only be spent on companies that lobby heavily in their favor (Microsoft via OpenAI and Alphabet via DeepMind). Now I love Yann, but Met

Republicans are all pro-life, no abortion yada yada, but they are so against increasing minimum wage. Against child credits, which is a huge help to parents and did in fact reduce child poverty. Seems like a double standard when their actio

I pay for YouTube. Although they jacked up price from $9.99 to $17.99 with 0 difference in offering. I know the latest cool post pandemic is to keep on jacking up price until you see churn but that really rubbed me off. It felt very fuck-yo

The thing with manufacturing, at-least in the US is that it is very capital intensive. Doves of undergrads applying to YC get funded for SaaS apps, but only a few startups building hardware. The money isn’t there from investment or returns.

I want prices to come down, I want affordability to go up . Who cares if wages go up and prices go up even faster. The question is not what is the price of a house, but how many hours does a median wage worker need to work to afford their h
