California gonna do what it does best, keep on banning/restricting new building projects.
Meanwhile the existing gas station owners would be relishing the regulatory capture that allows them to charge absurd gas prices and bag those profits.
Electric cars ain’t cheap, and it makes a ton of sense to re-use cars than make people buy cars they don’t need.
California already has one of the highest gas and electricity prices in the nation.
I’m surprised their politicians haven’t come to the conclusion of forcefully reducing population to combat climate change. No humans, no gas emissions! /s

- pjmlp 3y agoOn top of those reasons, most people use cars because generally the transport infrastructure sucks, and a large majority is forced to travel great distances for work. In many countries having a car is a getway to a better life.
