Even if the skull can't break, one can seriously damage the softer parts of the face with bare knuckles. Seen some pretty bad knuckle fights in high school where someone ended in a hospital pretty messed up.

In 2023, I would glue my self to the phone after reading book to our kid. But then our 5 year old would want to see what I am doing on my phone. One day I was reading a reddit thread while she wanted to tell me something that happened in sc

There’s also plenty of immigration. Not buying that this is driven due to labor population reduction. Don’t you have sources? Would love to read.

That’s not infrastructure as code means. It means engineers wouldn’t have ability to run terraform on laptop at all. They have to make a PR, get it reviewed and the code lands in some prod level branch where CI would run terraform for them.

Make the federal government guaranteeing loans, the market would sort itself out. In this specific instance, this is money slurped up by administration fees. If they stopped the loans, the prices would drop to meet reduced supply of loans.

US supporting Ukraine made sense, Russia was the clear aggresor. US supporting Israel makes very little sense. That being said, Trump signed bill to removed reporting of drone strikes by US military and he approved more strikes than Obama.

I have a feeling most people who want a Tesla already have a Tesla. Now Tesla has to fight and sway those who are looking to purchase their next vehicle. It doesn’t help that Elon is playing politics and driving a large crowd away from Tesl

Oh man. This sounds complicated. The hard part of signals is similar to over complicating events. It’s hard to debug what is going on and what to fix when things go wrong.

The other point here was that billions of requests per month is only 2 requests per second. That can easily be done on a one core server if you use an efficient web language like go/rust/nodejs. Tableplus is a simple marketing sit

I don't mind the US govt giving $8B to build out a US based fab. I mind when the US based fab doesn't get built or is just built for show but can't churn competitive chips. Both Boeing and Intel are showing their incompetence

Got sources to back up your claim? I’m interested why you think so? The fees on crypto are absurd. I thought credit cards were looting in daylight but crypto is on a whole new level.

Tugs to navigate would have prevented this incident. This container ship ran out of power twice and lost navigational control, which resulted in loss of life and billions in civilian infrastructure. Seems one cannot rely on container ships

DeSantis is very aggressive in his anti-liberal agenda. Kinda stupid for a state with so much sunshine to not go deep in solar and have one of the cheapest electricity rates in the country. Especially when most of that AC is used for air co

The shareholders of Apple would give Timecook a reality check. Apple is struggling to grow. Exiting Europe would start a cascading effect. They would lose trillion from market cap if they exited.

App stores were definitely a mistake. I see the arguments for we gotta vet and ensure security, but it’s been so political and poorly done that Apple and Google play king makers and rent-collecting empires.

Make Paine field airport bigger and accept international flights. I love that airport. It should be bigger and is north enough that it has its own population. Also US needs to build more high speed rail. We are over-reliant on airports.
