Given what I know about Samsung in Austin, I'm pretty sure you're not paying nearly enough to justify anything close to 20 hours a day. Just because you work with "great people" on "a global supply chain project&quo

Sure, but Amtrak is a weird comparison since its "real" service area isn't anywhere close to the full population of the US. There's plenty of whole states that don't have an Amtrak station in them. Most EU countries

Sure, but then the better US comparison includes things like the Chicago/NYC/Boston/DC/Atlanta train systems, which I'd imagine a decent number of folks in those cities take more than 31 times a year. Heck, I think

Yea, that doesn't seem like that useful of a number, since Frankfurt is a fairly major layover airport for international travel. I guess the more specific question would be how many Germans fly to elsewhere in Germany or Central Europe

Give or take. There's plenty of trains between countries in Europe that would also be within driving distance. In my mind, the optimal realistic situation is to have rail for longer distances (1-8 hours), but not trans-oceanic obviousl

But that seems like a reasonably understandable number? For all that everyone talks about how amazing trains are in other countries, I'm a little surprised to learn that I take Amtrak more in the US than the average German citizen take

Even so, $50 round trip is pretty pricey, especially since that's per-person. I don't mean any of this to say I wouldn't love a better train system, just that it seems like more of the value of it is in realms other than its

That definitely depends on the route/city though. There's plenty of routes where the train is a lot faster at otherwise high-traffic times of days. Completely honest question - are trains in, say, Germany that much cheaper for goi

I mean, Amtrak is pretty cool along the coasts. I'd much rather take it than almost anything else for getting between cities on the coasts. It's not great, but outside of just making the trains better/cheaper/run more of

Sure, but a lot of general plagiarism is done because of laziness or the high reward/low risk math of whatever context it's in. If I plagiarize some code as part of my job and don't say where I got it from, it's unlikely

It reminded me a lot of the art in Mysterium as well, where the premise is that the art cards are visions being presented to mediums from a ghost to try to hint towards how they died.

I think the important comparison there, and something I often keep in mind, is that the US is a lot more diverse racially, even with its segregation, than a lot of other countries in the world. It's a lot easier for a country that'

See, I feel like it's almost the opposite - I like salaried because I work my 40 and then feel no guilt for slacking off after that unless it's an incident/emergency. If I had a contract that paid me for overtime/hourly,
