Buts it's intentionally dumbed down to keep the game fun, loosing all the time would get frustrating real quick. Theres no ROI for AI devs to kick the humans ass (except for maybe now with our AI/Cloud/VR/ craze).

Yup, their end goal. You cant even close your account with apple, there is no facility or function to do so (removing a device and changing the email is NOT closing the account).

I did at one time listen to music while programming, but the last few years I'm more productive when I don't. When I did, any lyrics of any kind would be too distracting. It would have to be really mellow (any genre really).

Visual Studio is the only place I've really used the function keys (F5, F10, F11), and I rarely use VS anymore. Outside of that I use F2 when in any kind of GUI that permits renaming of a file or folder. All of which can be rebound.

If on some box where you cant setup vim like you want, CTRL[ works as escape and CTRL[[ when in command-line mode.

By default, when in command-line mode CTRL[[ is the same as escape and when in insert mode CTRL[ is the same as escape.

I interviewed at MS in 2000, they said the same thing during the interview to one of my questions "Because we can. We are MS.". My response is probably why I did not get the job.

I refer to many servers, consoles, screens etc as him/her/he/she/guy, and I to call out any last remaining food on the kids plate in the same way as you. West coast as well.

We think Ember is great. If you want a framework (or any FOSS solution) for the long haul (years, not months) then back a horse that isn't ran by a company who is going to change their strategy every 6 months.

And, even if your phone is updating it may be doing a fake update and then show you that you did update to whatever version Apple says is "safe" for this exploit but in fact Pegasus was in control the entire time. Get a new phone
