It's funny that most everyone I know with 6 or 6s has problems (slow, bad battery) and everyone I know (including mysel) with 7 has no problems what-so-ever. Maybe 6 was just a bad product?

I love how lots of people here assume America is the only land in the world. Most European countries have had online taxing for ages now at a cost of 0.

In Estonia, an email is a legally signed document. We also have Digital Signatures via our Electronic IDs. You must live in a third world country, because I haven't even seen a fax machine in the past 15 years.

But why does all the free and open stuff look so bad. I mean seriously, Lyra is in dire need for someone with a UX/UI background to join their team.

There's Revolut, Monese, N26 to name a few where you can sign up without ever stepping foot into their office (via a phone app, by proving your ID either via video call or make a photo of your ID) and the entire process takes a few hou

Oh man, didn't realize that! So that actually makes it a doable replacement for my MBP once it wears out. Considering I use Codeanywhere as my IDE, I don't really need anything that, but a netbook, like Pixelbook is.

What about the screen tho'? I would love to use a Pixelbook, but I simply can't go for any screen < Retina.

Well, yeah. But to be honest, I'd rather the performance decline than knowing I have 20% of battery and am waiting for a critical call and then the battery dies.

Back when I was still an Android user, I had a Nexus 4. After a year of use, it also started shutting down at random points if battery was below 20%. Before that I had HTC Desire (the first one), which did the same, at reaching 10% of batte

This reminds me of how OnePlus 5 (Android) sticks 8gb of ram in it, and is as fast as iPhone 7 which has 2gb of ram. Specs don't mean shit if the software that utilizes the hardware is crap.

I would hire whoever produces the best quality of work for that amount of money, but if they all produce the exact same quality of work, I would hire the one who takes the least amount of money.

How well does that argument hold up tho'? I mean, there is always _someone_ who does it cheaper. Always. In fact I know of a web developer, who actually does quite decent work and is available for as little as $5 per hour. Does that me

I'm also on the 7. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this phone, but I'll probably wait for the X2 (or whatever the next X will be called) and then upgrade to that once it comes out.

I totally agree that discrimination is done by geographical area of origin instead of colour of skin. Lots of Estonians have an axe to grind with Russians (due to history), but I don't know of any other people that we tend to dislike.

As far as I know most people are just curious (I saw my first black person when I was 11 years old, so yeah, mostly white country). There is racism, sure, especially in less-developed parts of the country, but most people just keep to thems

Yeah, never moving to America. Never. I value my life more than that. In Estonia (and I'd imagine most of Europe), the ambulance ride is free (unless you prank call them, then you get a fine). The healthcare is free (paid by your emplo

Nasty behaviour is still there. Windows is a joke in terms of how bloated and clunky it still is, how it snoops on you, doesn't let you turn off updates without doing some shady things with the register and whatnot (which, a regular pe
