I find it amazing that Ubuntu 15.04 is still under 700mb, but I suppose you have to install a lot of packages on first run anyway. I do doubt that it's 5gb worth though...

I think you need to do an import first, so it is faster to just rollback to a snapshot than re-import each time. I prefer snapshots so I can configure the network as needed for our corporate environment (saving me from doing that each and e

I wonder if the threat of continuous attack and litigation could hurt shareholders of the MPAA's partners more than Google itself. Particularly since the last decade of investment into anti-piracy campaigns and measures has not curved

This isn't one of those "change your passwords" moments, is it? Based on how this exploit worked, I would assume you'd already know if your account was breached and that there is no on-going risk after the fix?

You could be liable when disclosing bugs responsibly too, as some researchers have learned when investigating voting machine security.

Perhaps I'm being hyperbolic, but I generally found that most of the recent Reddit related submissions have served no real purpose other than give people another channel to complain about Reddit, the closure of the subreddits, Pao'

I think I find issue with a hyperbolic title designed to get a rise out of people, followed by a dozen paragraphs describing a brief work history without any substantial self-realisation that ends with a contradiction of the original point.

There is already some interesting solutions posted here. If you wanted to try and tackle the issue with a stop-gap in the meantime you could add an image hashing step in the upload process to identify images that have already been flagged a

$229 million would probably be exceedingly punitive, despite their ineptitude. $229,000 in compensatory damages, seem to me at least, to be more than a suitable remedy.

I wonder if a 12-36 hour period is consistent with the frequency in which predators hunt. I can't imagine a lion eating every few hours. Anyone knowledgable on things like that?

The "Chairman Pao" comments, and all the imagery comparing her to the current Chinese government. Generalising and making comparisons based on a person's race is racism. Particularly so, since she was born in America.

Pretty much their only revenue stream is page advertising, which I would imagine is not that compelling for investors. Particularly since each community is bespoke, with mixed engagement. It'd be a nightmare to commercialise.
