You might have heard by now that Windows 10 now comes with a full Ubuntu-based Bash shell that can run Linux software. Guess that covers your use case well!

If you're an iOS/Mac developer, there's no alternative. If you want an alternative for graphics work (or other development), try Windows. For other web development, in general, you'll be able to work well with Linux. Kee

Yup, I don't agree to such binary classifications either. Still, an interesting/important thing to keep in mind. (The comments on the article page are interesting.)

I too considered ReSwift for my last iOS project, felt it would be an overkill, so didn't use it eventually (I've worked with React/Redux). Though I inculcated a Redux like approach into the App directly and it seems to be wo

True. People flocked to Twitter to hear general opinion, which the press didn't provide. That is changing. They have also been controlling the trending #hashtags; trying to channel only certain type of discussion.

If their are less than two USB ports on the new Macbook pro, I'll be going for the last years version. Magic toolbar doesn't excite me - never used the similar function keys on PCs, even when I had them.

Lot of very fancy photographers use GIMP exclusively. It's more about the workflow (and marketing). If you're used to GIMP, you won't find Photoshop all that easy and vice versa.
