So far the double app doesn't bother me (we'll see if it gets wearing ) - but staying in Workflow is clunky, so I finished my "Nighttime" workflow with opening safari. There's at least some chance I'll want t

For informational purposes: The way it lets workflows create apps, is that it creates a data url, that it opens in safari, and l has you bookmark that URL to your home screen. When opened as one of those safari web apps, the javascript on

That would be an interesting article, this one however was kinda pointless, as it appeared to be predicated on prices not rising, with only a tiny call out to frosty pod.

That is a good story! Beyond the hunk of gold, they could also have the king of Sweden hand you the hunk of gold. I think that's a good touch.

I know people who have lived off the grid (or on a boat), without a paying job, happily. It does get wearing, and people don't seem to do it for too long - but that can be years. (To give some examples of lifestyles that do not require

I have a good friend who works at an agency and he does it for these reasons: 1) As a consultant you have to be constantly networking, and selling yourself, to keep the pipeline full. He hates that, being on the antisocial side. 2) As an e

Interesting - I've worked at US companies with policies just like the one at the top of that page. I had no clue they were illegal. Hard to enforce was obvious though, and I do remember breaking such a policy at least once.

So the argument here is that we are trusting github not the author of the software. And that way we can trust the code audit we do on GitHub to be the same as the downloaded software. So we don't have to use our own software tools to d

I did not downvote - but if I had it wouldn't have been about freedom, it would have been about prices and corruption. How much overhead do all those pointless, and expensive dealer employees add to the cost of my car? And in particul

I did this. We broke up within six months after 5 years together. The firm - though no longer a start up (the breakup juggled priorities and set us on the path of a bootstrapped traditional firm) is still run profitably, nearly 9 years late

Snowwrestlers point is interesting, why is a warrant needed for a phone tap? You are clearly enlisting a 3rd parties help, and I think the general public knows that their phone company can listen in on their calls... People are clearly sh
