To me this then boils down to: Are the people in my organisation the ones that are most likely to make me say 'Wow!' or would it be better if my water cooler conversations happen at the local coffeeshop / meetup. And I've got to say as the

Interestingly I've found this not to be the case, many very good teams of coders (in my experience) have at least one socially awkward person, and still perform very well. (Sometimes it feels like the manager is little more then "socialable

Neatly done, though I’d really prefer these things come with at least a blog entry describing how it was done. Mainly I’d love to know if it’s reasonable to modify it towards your own use. Looking at the CSS it seems like a lot of very tin

I’ve programed perl for ages, and at this point I actually like the sigils, as they force you to keep track of your data types. At this point they are definitely a plus for perl, and perl readability for me. But starting out - yeah, they w

Chambers of Commerce are apparently only very loosely associated, and the politics of various international Chambers of Commerce diverge a lot. Perhaps there is room for another national level Chamber of Commerce for the US - one with a mor

So what I don’t get is the hate. I run a small crowdsourcing biz, (that was pretty risky to start btw, it ate both the founders life savings and more), and I’ve once or twice been told I don’t belong at various startup/hacker meet-ups. Or

Of course they could have taken perl's tact and defined "\n" to mean System.NEWLINE not 0x0A. That would have been an improvement right there.

This looks rather cool, and I’d be willing to outsource the guts of my bog to Google+, leaving me with just the UI. But it looks to me like there’s still no way to post to Google+ via the API, which makes this a non-starter for me.
