That's fine. Some people consider Django bloated. Some prefer flask. Others will prefer something with more stuff included than Django. It sounds like you never were really the target audience for Django?

There was this one russian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Podkletnov#Podkletnov.27... , but nobody has yet managed to replicate his results.

No, I don't focus on the freezing part, but you just confirmed it, you favor a lack of confidence. Out of curiosity, what do you consider similar to freezing up? A weak handshake? Avoiding eye contact? Freezing up is a problem, not the

Oh well, if you think that everybody who doesn't freeze up in a job interview is automatically overconfident this discussion can't go anywhere.

People who don't freeze in interviews are overconfident according to j_baker, I got that, I just don't understand how he came to that conclusion.

I find it very bizarre that anybody would say something like this. Are you afraid of people who are more confident than you? Would that deter you even if they demonstrate superior technical skills?

This post highlights some of the reasons why I don't like Google+, and dislike it even more than facebook. > Posts are crawled and indexed almost immediately I used to use RSS feeds for quick indexing. Well, I guess we all know how

Nice catch, reading the nodejs code is really discouraging. But the post points to the relevant specs, so I guess this should be fixed rather sooner than later. Initial response looks good: https://github.com/joyent/nod

Unless I'm missing something you also need a function to create all aliases when the shell session starts?

To have completion with bash you can use this: function _jump { local cur=${COMP_WORDS[COMP_CWORD]} local marks=$(find $MARKPATH -type l -printf "%f\n") COMPREPLY=($(compgen -W '${marks[@]}' -- &quo

That looks clever and useful, I wasn't expecting that. I do maintain a few aliases to jump around, but this looks more efficient. Not sure though if I'll like "jump foo" better than simply "foo" that I use now,

Oh my that was it! I had been wondering about it and disabled plenty of extensions, but not this one. Also made me realize that I should use Firefox more often again...

Yes, but from my experience a vast majority of.. email marketers won't figure out how to do it. I would really like the option to only display attached images.

Indeed. Images can be attached to the emails, and the show remote images button (or whatever it's called) simply loads all images. There should be options to display attached images, remote images from sender's domain, etc.

Why do you as an American feel the need to invoke some dead german left-wing militants in a pseudo-religious phrase that's meaningless except maybe for shock value? This seems highly inapproriate for any website and even more so on HN.

If you are good at both you are the rare exception. After a decade I have yet to meet somebody who can design well and code well.

Can sombody tell me why this uses the photos as background images for divs? It seems to me like this gallery could also use img tags (which is semantic, crawlable, yadda..)

The news stream on http://www.koding.com is broken as new content is simply inserted at the top and whatever you're trying to read is jumping around randomly.
