Had a similar issue with a RAM 1500 - even if you have the source set to aux or BT, it defaults when turned on to FM radio. Always at full blast too and takes a couple of seconds to respond before you can switch source.

If I'm not wrong, I believe Apple in the late 80s and 90s manufactured in the US, and again in the 2010s with the Mac Pro. I remember reading somewhere that they lost a ton of money because of it.

I setup a Windows 98 SE VM back in 2020 that I spin up every couple of weeks to play games from my childhood. It's almost like a nostalgia shrine for me. It makes me feel cozy inside when I hear the startup sound or listening to AoE:Ro

I'm pretty excited about FCP and subscription model. I pay for Adobe CC and for videos, FCP always felt out of reach (couldn't justify spending $299) for me to tinker with and move past using iMovie for quick family edits.

I liked the way this was written. No BS, just straight up, "We need to reset". It's refreshing to hear. I stopped using Clubhouse after being an early user for a couple of months. Some conversations were good, but most weren&

I have a "Daily" tab folder that I start my day with it. It contains HN / Bookface, several subreddits, and NYT, local news, and Ars Technica. Over time, I started to remove subreddits that are no longer relevant to me (e.g.

I lived and worked in Portland for five years, and have been traveling back and forth recently. The downtown area is pretty sad to see post-COVID. Pretty much lawlessness rules the streets and every once in a while, a little bit of action t

I did this from IT technician to DevOps/Platform engineering. Took about a year of learning and a handful of failing interviews to finally have someone take a chance on me. I started by first learning what the job requirements are, loo

I wonder if this has to do with just how good the M1/M2 chips are. I have an M2 MacBook Air and honestly, it's been one of the best computers I had in a while. Perfect size, works extremely fast for what I need and is built really

I bought one and used it a handful of times, if you're not really into this kind of thing, it will pretty much sit in a drawer.

I have a 2023 Model Y without radar sensors and got the parking assist update recently. It's by far one of the most annoying updates I got. Sitting in traffic, it would trigger itself thinking that I'm trying to park. Parking in t

I "downsized" from a MacBook Pro 15 with high specs (i9, dedicated GPU, 64 GB RAM) to a MacBook Air M2 and don't regret the decision. I don't feel I'm missing out on anything except when I want to run a VM locally (

I’m going through a similar experience for my kids. I’m super close to pulling a trigger on a iMac G3, which was the first computer I used as a kid (at the school computer lab). Not having it connected to the internet, preloaded with Kid Pi

What a stupid move. Every infotainment system I used that didn't have CarPlay has been horrible. Either it was incredibly slow or hard to use. Going into a rental with CarPlay has always been awesome. Everything you need is right where

Incredibly cool product, often user onboarding to any SaaS is either over engineered (and takes too long) or completely lacking.

I wish more chargers would follow similar model to charging to how Superchargers work - high amperage, plug-and-go. I used a non-Tesla charger for my Model Y yesterday at a parking garage. Let me tell you the experience: 1. Came up, no dire
