That could be because the demo doesn't use requestAnimationFrame. This javascript call will stop whatever function it's given when the canvas is out of view. Frankly I've only noticed major issue on Mac. I'm developing a WebGL app and my bo

Guess I'll have to drive down to the US to get one. Canada is somehow always excluded from new google projects. I'd like them to tell us which laws or limitation cause this. Crappy ISPs and Mobile networks?

With the number of engineers and people google employs it's obvious it's going to have to spread around to give everyone of them something to do. I think it's fine as long as the top is able to keep it under control but I have to admit that

The only reason bands still go with them is due to maketing power I think. The web should be able to fix that for them. Myspace reinvented itself as a platform for musicians to market themselves but they are dying right now so there some sp

I've been working on this project for the past year and a half. I'd like to get some feedback on it from HN. We use it mainly to to view surface images extracted from MRI volumes and data applied as color textures but it's generic enough to

Yeah that's true but you have to be found guilty first, they can't just (I hope) pick you up and put you on a plane without a trial of some sort or a valid reason that can be challenged in court (If you are a PR, that is or a visa holder).
