Unfortunately with electric stovetops, pans only get heated under the electric source. I love my large cast iron frying pan but only getting heat in the center makes cooking with it a pain/doesn't work well. Gas stoves don't

In the US we are a bit more liberal with driving training. Any parent with a drivers license can train their children to drive. Schools have driving classes but you are not always required to take them.

Tesla's FSD beta should be thought of like you are a driving instructor/parent for a beginning driver on a driving permit but you have a full duplicate set of controls, like an airplane. Let the car drive but at any moment you hav

Grew up driving pre-1980's cars and didn't know about this until this year. The light on the dash that lit up was the same indicator as the light that comes on when the hand-brake is engaged. When the light would not go off when t

An actual old-school handbrake can be engaged gradually. One reason I'm not fond of the new automatic parking brake systems.

I know at least conifer trees are never "fully grown". I imagine it is the same for deciduous trees. Trees continue to add wood to there structure every year. You count the tree rings to know its age. A 500 year old redwood, cedar

I've thought this would be a good solution for years. I would like if you could choose the amount to charge people to call you that aren't on your white list. You get 90% of that and the phone company gets 10%. A win-win-win for y

Many trees live for over 500 years (Redwoods, Cedars, Douglar Fir, Oaks, etc.). They can be part of the solution of keeping CO2 levels down while our energy system is de-carbonized. Go ahead and plant trees. They are great in many other way

If Tesla does make 20 million cars that sell for an average of $50k and have net margins of 20%, their annual revenue would be $200 billion. If at that point they have the same PE as Apple has now (~25), that would be a market cap of $5 tri
