But doesn't Microsoft also have good relationship with other governments? Wouldn't that make them play diplomatic? If Microsoft is found inserting backdoors into their core OS, every other government using their product would dump

You know what is weird is that all these patent trolls are scaring me into filing for defensive patents. Its scary since the law has now changed from "First to invent" to "First to file". You come up with a great idea, t

I thought FAT came from DOS, which was Microsoft owned. If FAT wasn't Microsoft's original design, then I think its very unfair that they got the patent for it in the first place, let alone enforcing it.

I agree, FAT is very old and an inferior filesystem especially when compared to EXT. >Imagine BMW patenting the shape of the hole you use to fuel your car, and then sending invoices to every fuel station. That is an unfair comparison. I

Does anyone know what patents are claimed by Microsoft on Android? Is it one for FAT16/32? Correct me if I am wrong but isn't FAT16/32 Microsoft's proprietary format? So why is it wrong for them to put a claim on it? Wou

You can create a key/node with Read-Only permissions. Also when something gets deleted it goes to the .SyncTrash folder but keep in mind it doesn't take into account file corruption.

Good tutorial but its does not make it fully secure. SMTP is an unsecure protocol, so if your host decides or is compelled to sniff the traffic, all emails received or sent could be recorded in plain text. Not to mention emails from senders

I might have clicked through it. I guess I am still paranoid since you can re-enable it on the web, its not a client controlled setting. Surely someone could take advantage, not just the NSA but even a hacker breaking into your Outlook.
