People addicted and regularly consuming alcohol, meth (smoked, snorted, or injected), street heroin, and cocaine all suffer from significantly worse side effects than people addicted to sugar. I’ll grant you that sugar has a higher total so

That’s absurd and incorrect. It’s significantly safer to expose an unborn child to sugar than alcohol, cocaine, meth, or heroin.

I’m not the parent comment, but many undesirable things are not caught by the common carbon water filters. Specifically it does very little for bacteria, viruses, and other organic compounds.

TV addiction is a huge problem in the western world. The average American spends more than 2.5 hours watching tv a day, and Netflix is a large part of that. Even worse, Netflix promotes “binging”, of watching tv for long periods of time.

Isn’t that the essence of Netflix’s point? That Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc are far worse for you than Netflix. It’s hardly an unbiased position, considering Netflix is bidding on attention just like TikTok or YouTube is

I strongly disagree. Microsoft is largely responsible for introducing computers to everyday people. They championed a mission of “a computer on every desk and in every home” in a way no one else was. I have strong doubts that PCs as we kn
