Oh my, this really sends me down memory lane. It must have been around 1996 when I spent a substantial amount of time downloading and listening to VGMusic. Back then I was on dial up and would continue to be for another five years or so. Th

As you mentioned Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, it is hands down the best live album I have ever listened to. Why? Because the recording captures Cash, the audience, and everyone else there in such a way that you can feel what a truly ex

Would the same not equally well apply to the company being sued? That they would have to dig up evidence as to why they have decided to deny service. Not arguing that suing a corporation is a pleasant and easy experience though.

Thank you, that is an interesting response to read, but what I was trying to communicate with that sentence was that if you read that thread and others in good faith you can get a fairly nuanced picture and not that it is one in and of it

Implying that OpenBSD has not considered Rust? There is plenty of discussion on misc@ already (for example [1]) and while it certainly can be "ranty", I am sure if one reads it in good faith you get a fairly nuanced picture. [1]

Look, I get as much as the next guy that Rust brings a lot of niceties. But what we are talking about here is a project that clocks in at just over 19,000,000 lines of C (`wc -l $(find src -name '*.c' -or -name '*.h')`),

Sadly it looks like Midi support is not confirmed as of December 2023 for the OM-108. But given the decision to call it OM-108 and I think it was the OM-200M, OM-250M, and OM-300 that had Midi output, it worries me somewhat that it will not

Back when I used GMail, Google would sometimes mark correspondence e-mails from Google staff as spam. Heck, I even had instances of responses to e-mails I had sent to Google staff marked as spam. Spam filtering is complex and clearly Goog

Good question. I have heard it referenced multiple times, but that does not make it true. Wikiquote cites The Sydney Morning Herald [1], but that is probably not a great source. I did a bit of digging online and also found The Guardian ment
