I live in the US of A.... look around. #edit it's the only form of protest I can think of that might actually affect things, or at least my involvement.

Not everyone has to be completely precise and politically correct to have a conversation, just most of these kinds. Know your audience. :)

I don't think tools like noscript, adblock would be nearly as popular if the content publishers hadn't gotten so greedy. I'll use the verge as an example, it's mostly text content yet hitting any page on their site feels

No, I would argue the holocaust and more are confusing cultural disagreements with racial stereotyping which have more to do with (surprise!) culture than race. I think it's much more believable that a large group of people grew angry

So you want me to agree that it's a problem that the male to female ratio isn't equal before you've proven that the inequality is brought about by a bad reason as opposed to a natural and just reason? That greatly reduces my

Except it doesn't seem like people are saying "lets get this measurement right so we know what needs to be done". Instead it sounds a lot more like a self-righteous group determining what isn't and isn't the correct

To me it's too close to reality, working a room to me can only refer to my observation that it's about trying to work each person over in most situations, which I'm sure has more direct negative connotations. Then the icing o

I completely avoided myspace, facebook, and twitter, only to be bitten by google. I started out just using gmail, then Picasa came along. Google didn't really have social overtones at the time, so it seemed safe. Then google music seem

I'm pretty sure HIPAA made the rule that patients must accept everything billed to insurance (or something to that effect), so I think it makes sense that they would be responsible to making sure it's enforced. Point being, HIPAA

When companies advertise on TV that they automatically (patient need not request or accept each order) ship replenishment supplies for C-PAP based on eligibility... yeah... HIPPA is a joke.

No, I said that as if I'm capable of a dissenting opinion. When men grow boobs to nurse babies and men can naturally incubate babies, I'll start looking deeper into the issue. Hell, I'm willing to even look past those two. Yo

I like how most of the /real/ problems with sexism boil down to nasty people ignoring social correctness while being nasty. I'm sure they just need a reminder that being nasty is socially unacceptable. It's entertaining
