A lot of countries have tax treaties with the US. So you can deduct the taxes you pay in that country from your US tax. You don't get double taxed. Of course, if you go to a place with very little taxes, you don't get to enjoy that.

"Theory of Everything" is not a theory for everything, literally. It is just a catchphrase used by physicists to mean a theory that encompasses the "Standard Model" (which describes particle physics) with General Relativity and gravitation,

E8 is an exceptional Lie group (ie a group that is also a manifold, hence in particular infinite). You seem to be mixing it up with the exceptional finite simple groups. Wikipedia explains.

Is the lady portrayed in this article supposed to be the average American or an extreme case of cluelessness? I don't know anybody who is in such a hole (or at least admits to).
