Would be nice to see clang somehow generate a 'cscope' compatible database. This would make cscope much more reliable for C++ projects (cscope VIM/emacs plugins are very useful for efficiently navigating a large source tree).

Should not happen using a modern phone camping on a 3G network. 3G (WCDMA)is not based on TDMA and the uplink has been designed specifically to avoid creating audible interference.

What about searching for all callers of a function? This has been available (using cscope) on VIM and Emacs for ages.

Can you share some of your more generally useful gdb settings / macros? I've been working with linux/gdb for years and while I do agree it is powerful -- I don't find it very convenient. For example, up until gdb 7.4 (pretty recent) there w

Now that FreeBSD had exceeded their target, you might want to consider donating to Haiku ( https://www.haiku-os.org/ ). Unlike FreeBSD which is targeting servers (much like Linux), Haiku is designed for personal computing and emphasizes res

I work with C++ daily and it still has many rough edges: * Horrible error messages * Even simple programs take ages to compile due to massive header files. LLVM/Clang help on both fronts but it's still quite difficult. D2 seems much more pr
