I've used it as an excuse to learn front-end stuff. I wouldn't use no code or builders if learning is your goal. If you want it to be productive then they are good. Very much "master the rules so you can break them" atti

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD4xrnzKN1Y is a good exposition of his mathematical work for the non-mathematician. His other work is better known, of course.

5 amps is the highest current official USB cables will carry, and 48V is the highest voltage you can generally use as anything more is not considered intrinsically safe to handle -- it's the maximum "low voltage" Thus you get

Bad free trade deals likely did more than Reaganomics here. NAFTA + China-WTO accession really did not help American manufacturing.

ICE engines are incredible feats of engineering. Meanwhile, you need 2, maybe 3 parts to make an electric motor. They are dead simple. Even the control is just an inverter drive. A turbo has about as many parts as the entire electric drivet

LFP can have similar density since you don't need the same amount of protection in the pack. It's a system level win.

I've ripped out chunks of KiCad to run as CI/CD on the basic PCBs I have. KiCad's data and code is really not geared up for this, so quite a bit had to be hacked up to make it idempotent and even just to bring it up to basic

A 20TB NAS HDD is $350, new. A 5-6 bay new enclosure is $100. $2400 for brand new storage + a little Raspberry Pi to serve it (another $100) is less than the price of a single new MacBook Pro. It's easily within the means of relatively

Yep, there's a lot of stuff that properly using general relativity would address in a much cleaner way than dark matter. Ignoring the relativistic nature and nonlinearity of GR is a very large problem with FLRW and other toy models, bu

Rotations always happen in a plane, in n-dimensions. In 3D there's a coincidence where planes and lines can be put in exact correspondence. This is the root of the whole "axial" and "pseudo" vectors that plague phys

Hard to tell but they are likely couplers for light from the lasers and electrical interconnects you can sort of see some grating at the ends. The 4x ones are likely for 4x laser assemblies like in QSFP (Quad) or for cases where you want to

You don't _need_ them, and IIRC _can't_ (in general) use them if you deal with non-perturbative effects, unless you do stuff like re-summing infinite series of diagrams and that really makes interpreting the ultimately observable

No, it's a pretty well-defined concept when you stick to its technical definition as an aid in interpreting terms of a perturbation series as Feynman diagrams. > these other excitations do have real observable effects Yeah, that

Not really. The "roiling sea of particles" is a metaphor for perturbation series, which very specifically does not work for the strong force at low energies. Take anything involving virtual particles as just that, virtual. They&#x
