Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe the title should say "Out of Salvia/Iboga/Ketamine/...?" because it's dissociative hallucinogens that induce hallucinations through sensory deprivation. LSD does the exact opposite

I envision a cellphone that can be docked inside some kind of a netbook shell. The phone holds all the essential hardware, but the netbook shell provides a bigger battery, a keyboard and a larger screen. Take both or only the phone with you

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to get an idea how long I should wait before signing a contract with another company. I applied with several companies about a week ago an it's really interesting to see the differences between small and large

A bit offtopic, but does anyone know how long Google usually needs to get back to you when you apply for a position? Also, do they notify you if you've been rejected, or does your resume simply disappear into a black hole?

This would be a lossy transformation. An <address> tag would still need to be transformed into a <div> which would destroy the association between the tag name and its contents. After that getElementsByTagName('address') wou

I agree that using a precomputed value in a where clause is a good idea. But it's very likely that computing that value inside a DB engine and fetching a single value is going to be faster than fetching 50 values and calculating the product

I believe your criticism is equivalent to the old "macs only have one mouse button" argument. Sure, false==0 and "false"==0 both evaluate to true, but is that really a bad thing? It is well known and well documented behavior. I would even a

Tusko, the elephant from the famous LSD experiment, was injected with 297 milligrams. 0.015 milligrams, on the other hand, is only about 1/10 of the usual dose one would take for a "trip". I suspect this might be a typo since 0.15mg is the

I've seen this link a couple of times a while ago when Bing launched. Most commenters said: "Hey, look! In a blind test Yahoo and Bing are just as good as Google!". What they forgot, though, was that being just as good is not good enough fo

My 3 most important rules for Linux servers are: 1. Run software update! 2. Don't allow everyone to access sensitive ports. Moving SSH to some nonstandard port is not enough. Use iptables to limit access to it from only certain static IPs.
