As far as I understand it depends on the kind of projects and how repeatable they are. If you automate large parts of the labor that go into them you could have an advantage by keeping the same price tag.

Most of the graphs on Six Colors have 2019-Q4 missing and some of the numbers are wrong. For example compare total revenue change for 2019-Q2 with the actual numbers in the second chart above.

It makes me sad that everything you wrote including the swearing is justified. If only at least one other manufacturer could come up with a decent trackpad.

With Apple buying Emagic in 2002, I’m surprised they weren’t able to do a better job. Emagic was the company that originally made Logic, the professional audio application Apple still sells today.

Happiness in slavery. :) Not every potential partner might be into that or the faking of good leadership qualities that owning a dog enables.

I’d like to add that job safety and the home that needs money brought to is also used as an excuse. People need to feel safer that they can act upon their morals and overcome whatever consequences arise. Friendships and family ties are one

That sounds too altruistic to me, if you put it like that. I assume you don’t let anger bottle up inside of you and find ways to equalize the pressure without hurting yourself. Then this book is not for you. I had issues with that, so the b

Is anybody in the know whether they’ll actually show the 70mm print at the Cannes Classics on May 12 on that open-air screen near the ocean? Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to sit down with Christopher Nolan and members of the Kubrick family i

There were consequences for swearing in my mother tongue. I’m not only talking about my own trespasses. You hear someone say a bad word, you can reasonably expect somebody voicing their problem with that. It’s social control. It changed me

Your note about three-finger dragging puzzles me. I’d thought now that the trackpad is larger, this particular mode of dragging would be more useful. With smaller trackpads I would constantly run out of space to end the drag without lifting

Had to look this up as it isn’t my core competency. According to current knowledge our sun is too small for a supernova explosion. It might become a red giant (5 to 6 billion years) and then a white dwarf.
