I don’t think this is true? Anecdotal (would love to see actual studies) but many of my friends and I are vegetarian, and we’d jump at the chance to try this. I miss meat.

I take your point, but this is not a language design problem -- it's a library design problem. These are just function names.

Note that not all usb-c iPads are thunderbolt, only the 2(?) most recent iPad Pro models.

You sound like me, 5 years ago, at age 21. I only realized I am actually an extroverted person a few months ago.

It's not very clear from your comment where exactly you are, but in The Netherlands credit cards are quite common — almost everyone I know has one, and I was raised here.

Agreed, and, in addition, having every single student explain their program would be a significant burden on teaching resources.

> Previously just doing the assignment was typically less work than cheating I don't think this is generally true, especially for algorithms and smaller programs: Googling 'fibonacci python' takes 3 seconds.

> If you get degenerative chronic illness are you eventually just as happy as you were before it? No, we figured this out in the 70s. No, but that's also not what the HT hypothesis says. The treadmill pushes you back, not forward.

Don't forget about Javascript! I wouldn't be surprised if React and Redux and new-ish JS features like `map`, `reduce`, etc. have contributed significantly as well.

Why, then, do most US states have such laughably low sales tax rates, compared to e.g. the EU?

Maybe is a monad cause you can wrap something in a Maybe (that’s ‘return’) and you can also bind a ‘Maybe a’ to an action that takes an ‘a’ (that’s ‘bind’ or ‘>>=‘).

This is true, and it’s why I said “as much as you think”. There seems to exist a narrative that these farmers are producing “our” food, which is incorrect.

Maybe. People are going to drown if we do not act to reduce nitrogen emissions (And eating less meat would significantly reduce emissions, but that seems unlikely to happen on a large scale)

As I said in another comment, most of the food produced by these farmers is destined for export.

It’s important to note that much of the food produced by these farms is exported, so national food prices may not be affected as much as you would think.

Fair, although I think we need to understand git’s shortcomings to understand what product needs to be built next. I’d argue that’s what this author is doing.

I’m inclined to agree. At first, I wasn’t sure if those blocks were ads or other articles on your own website; they interrupt the reading experience in an unpleasant way.
