I've had issues with tailscale dns for a while where I'll wake my mac up and the dns will just not work until I disable tailscale. I can then re-enable it and everything continues to work. I logged a bug about it and the latest ve

This is great! Looks like it only went on in 2018 and is mostly a Seattle thing. Would be great to bring this back to San Francisco.

This is amazing! A few folks on my block in the lower haight started doing something similar during Covid. We’ve met some long term neighbor friends this way that we otherwise may have never met. Love to know that more of this was going on

We also use temporal, it’s pretty great. Their ui makes it easy to debug workflows too.

Hm, this is cool but I’m not seeing the speed. I loaded this on my phone and did one scroll flick with my thumb. Immediately saw white screen and took multiple seconds to render the items. iOS iPhone 15 pro. I’ve run into this same problem

This can work pretty well if you want to either mask the data in prod or update it in place. A good use case that comes to mind is using prod data in a retool app or something for your internal team but you want to mask out certain bits. I’

I was just here for the first time last week. What a hoot! I went close to closing time and there were a good amount of people but not overwhelming and was very easy to play most of what you wanted. There were of course people not adhering

Wow what a loop close. I’ve also been wondering randomly about this movie with no idea what it was called. I remember this film and it left an impression on me. I’ll even bring it up to people from time to time. Didn’t occur to me for some

Great to see this starting to spread. I don't live in Hawaii, but I am envious of those that live there that can now use this feature. I live in California and have been wanting this for a while now. I just recently found out that Cali

I do a flavor of this. I use Hugo as my blog system and plugged in the bearblog template to it. Right now I host on GitHub pages with my own custom domain. Works well!

This is awesome! I don’t really play PoE anymore but was addicted to the game back in open beta/v1 launch. I still have my chaos orb key chain I got from my donor pack, unfortunately I lost my shirt somewhere. It’s to this day imo the

Nice to see this. We use shadcn for Neosync and I’ve already built a few components with recharts, which is my go to charting library these days. Will be curious to see how easily I can update my components to just use the shad ones. Or at

I have the moon lander and have settled to almost never using anything on the thumb cluster. It just didn’t feel very natural to me to have to reach for the thumb. I have larger hands too. I think what I do have mapped is only the first two

Interesting and congrats on the launch! I am definitely a fan of all things postgres and it's great to see another solution that uses it. My main thing is the RabbitMQ dependency (that seems to be a topic of interest in this thread). G

This is exactly what they do. They don’t drive slower, they drive the speed limit. I’ve taken a lot of Waymos and their priority is safety, for everyone.

I’ve used Rectangle (Pro) for years. Found it shortly after moving from Windows to Mac some 10 years ago. Occasionally I’ll be pairing with someone and they’ll be astounded by how quickly I can snap windows around with it. It’s one of the

Nice! This is really neat. I love e-paper but like many others in this thread, wish it was better. This seems to be a really good alternative. I had to pause at the price though.

This comes just as I’ve finished reading Tracers in the Dark. Pretty interesting stuff. Will be interesting to read more deeply how they were able to track and take down this marketplace.

I relied on this project heavily at a past organization when the original maintainer was just leaving it to wither. They worked at Joyent if I remember and assuredly their work on that was decommissioned. I remember when James took it over,

Chartjs looks great, but I've never used it so can't recommend personally. I've used https://recharts.org a lot with success.
