The customer cares how much it costs. And how much it costs is proportionate to how much time it takes to build. You’re conveniently ignoring market and price dynamics

That wiki doesn't describe anything related to using the phrase for evil.

Just to give some balance to the echo chamber here, I would miss Yelp. I never try to use the mobile site, so I've never felt that pain. Most people I know are in the same boat. It's pretty silly to suggest that nobody would miss

I use Facebook in the same way you do - for participating in local motorsports. All the clubs organize via Facebook groups, so it's the only practical way to stay active in the sport. I'm using the personal account that I've

> We make a great living Assuming "we" are all engineers. There's no reference to role in the article or comment you're replying to, so I don't think that can be assumed. There are plenty of low wage jobs at sta

You can research at the library for free. You can ask other people's opinions for free. Newspapers are inexpensive and widely available. I'm sure there are other options I'm missing. Who doesn't have the means for free?

Sorry, should have clarified that I'm referring to Explore. I figured if someone is complaining about bad content on Instagram, it's in reference to content they don't have control over.

This has not been my experience, nor my wife's experience. Instagram shows more of what you click on, so it's entirely possible you are clicking on trash, so they're showing you more trash. From what I've seen, it does a

I didn't say any of those things even remotely. It kind of feels like you've imagined both sides of an argument in your head, and are projecting the other side on me. The only thing I'm saying is: If I'm a known con man,

That's not surprising at all. Untrustworthy people doing untrustworthy business are the people most in need of a platform that doesn't rely on trust.

That entirely depends on the income level you're talking, which is the OP's point. If you're making $10 mil and spending $7.5 mil on housing, you probably already have enough rooms to have kids. And even if you didn't, y

While the delivery leaves something to be desired, I second what he's saying. You're essentially telling people "please do the work for me since I'm too lazy to". It's the kind of low effort post that plagues

Your example of electric cars doesn't really translate. In your example, people are buying electric cars because there is an intrinsic property to them that make them superior to alternatives (e.g. faster). With bitcoin, people are cur

Thanks for this. This is a great way to think about things. It makes doing things that I don't find particularly fun (aka energy loss) more palatable since it may be able to be resolved by some energy gain.

Work with no profits (or revenue) would likely mean no salary. On the other hand, profits with no work sounds like a great situation.

I use it regularly with a lot of my friends and it's one of my favorite apps. Here's my take: The ease of sending and ephemeral nature significantly lower the barrier for what you'd consider shareable. Imagine you were walkin

"Learn from your mistakes" is an over simplification. Typically that means "if you make a mistake, figure out a way to not make it again". Instead, the lesson here is to find opportunities in the outcomes of your mistake
