I haven’t read the book, and I should. The series was really good. Too bad they cancelled it for being too expensive.

It is a tactic. OpenAI is changing the tone of ChatGPT if you use casual language, for example. Sometimes even the dialect. They try to be sympathetic and supportive, even when they should not. They fight for the user attention and keeping

I don't think that we can use the general "old" here. The statement should have been more explicit and include the design of the battery. If the model gets even minor updates, manufacturing is happening right now, the car is

There are good use cases and bad cases. Is a standard regex library better with known good pattern for email validation than some 3rd party library without regex until you benchmark them yourself? Or if you pull parser library, but parse on

Yes, they over-apologize. But my main reason for using LLMs is seeking out things that I missed myself or my own argumentation was not good. Sometimes they are really good at bringing new perspectives. Whether they are correct or incorrect

LLM is only useful if it gives shortcut to information with reasonable accuracy. If I need to double check everything, it is just extra step. In this case I just happened to be domain expert and knew it was wrong. It would have required sig

Just 2 days ago Gemini 2.5 Pro tried to recommend me tax evasion based on non-existing laws and court decisions. The model was so charming and convincing, that even after I brought all the logic flaws and said that this is plain wrong, I st

I am not sure if we can change the definition of 2FA based on that. What if compromising the laptop requires brute forcing something? Then laptop was protected by something the adversary did not know. If we expand this argument, there isn&#

It is not necessarily 1FA even if just use the laptop. One password could be leaked and if the password alone gives the access, that is 1FA. If the combination of two tokens forces the each login require access to that laptop and you need s

OpenAIs temporary chat still advertises that chats are stored for 30 days while there is court order that everything must be retained indefinitely. I wonder why they are not obligated to state this quite extreme retention.

The biggest problem with VSC for me is that sometimes undo history is completely broken with VIM. If you don't commit frequently, it is very easy to mess up the with the project and lose all your work, if you undo anything.
