While I really appreciate the conclusion and goals of the study, I wonder how accurate this test really is. Imagine your boss told you, "we are going to test out 4 hour work weeks". You are naturally going to be productive during

I dont think so. The question askers and answers arent expected to do anything, and you could argue they are doing it out of their own self interest, which is the whole point of the site. In other words, they are the customers. Moderators

I had the versa (v1) and it didnt have AOD, but you would install watch faces that allowed it and battery was like half a day, if that. So while I dont doubt your claims, I gave up on Fitbit before the versa 2. The buttons also dont do mu

Natural is not always better. Human behavior on average doesn't actually respond well to direct criticism. Our flight or fight responses kick in ("uggh fine" or deflecting) and cause us to handle the situation in suboptimal w

A network dependency is not a build dependency. Protobuf files should be copy pasted, not referenced directly. Saying you need a single repo to build correctly for your network dependencies is like saying you cant use a third party system (

The cons to multi repo are all anti patterns for microservices anyway. If you're doing microservices you shouldn't have build dependencies on other projects. The should only call eachother at a network level.

I find it funny, that in effort to "catch criminals", government tries to pass laws to make things those criminals do, illegal. If you make encryption illegal, its not going to stop the human trafficker from using it. They are al

You dont understand patents. You cant patent an idea. You patent a specific way to do something. For example, you cant patent a mop, but you can patent a specific design of a mop, a way to build it. You cant patent encryption but you can p

To be fair, it's open source software that makes the maintainers of it $0 of profit. Its closer to a form of art than it is a product. It might just be they don't actually care to gain adoption or "win the market".
