Why shouldn't they be ignored? It's easy to be a critic, much more difficult to put your money where your mouth is.

Don't worry about the haters, just keep working. Having just gone through 9 months of rapid iteration on a product, I've learned so much, both about building good products and about accepting (or not) feedback. Can't wait to see what Light

I'm already used to doing this for iOS, and though the process is cumbersome, enjoy the simplicity of using @2x images when designing apps. That said, this is why CSS3 is so valuable, particularly when responsive websites have already compl

No, but this is one of the reasons we built http://ignitiondeck.com , and we're hearing a lot of encouraging feedback from those outside the US trying to raise money. If something like that isn't an option, I believe Indie GoGo also offers

Considering you are a co-founder and jumping ship instead of pivoting, I'd want my shares back too. I'd also be leery of accepting you on my team if you are so eager to bounce based on traction alone. I'm not a lawyer, but I think your best

Brilliant way to self-promote while also servicing the community. I love this approach, and the design.

Based on my experiences with Kickstarter, this is not surprising. I don't think anyone can argue that they haven't built a great product, but I've yet to be impressed by the quality of their service and find their 'community at all costs' a

This is so true. Once got a 10k raise, and while it definitely made me less unhappy, it still didn't mask the fact that my boss was a moron and I was never going to get what I wanted out of the job. Problem is that I cared for far too long.

I read through your entire chain of comments and can't fathom why you've gone to such great lengths to tell other people how to spend their break time. If it works, and they like it, what's the problem?

The fatal flaw of Spotify, Rdio, and even Last.fm is that finding good music is just too much work. Too much social and too many clicks. I wish Pandora could buy one of these services and combine their discovery engine with the catalogues o

We test a lot, but would really like to hire a permanent QA tester because it's very easy to miss things when you see the same software every day.

I'm a fanboy, but thought the book went far too deeply into personal relationships, lacked objectivity, and diminished Jobs' accomplishments in an effort to make him seem more human.

I never said Jobs could do no wrong. The way he treated Lisa, for example, was about as bad as it gets. However, I felt the Isaacson intentionally diminished Jobs' genius, and while I'm not sure why, I suspect it was an ego decision. He mad

I don't know what I'm more surprised at - Isaacson's piss poor job of doing Jobs' life justice, or that Jobs chose him to write the book. Either way, I walked away very disappointed, ready to never think about the book again.

We've been trying to solve this problem for our software IgnitionDeck, and haven't yet had time to write our own tools for the job. I looked, unsuccessfully, but would certainly pay for a decent solution.

Really surprised that no one has a problem with this. How would we feel if PG turned every Apple, Amazon, or other ecommerce link into an affiliate link, with our name pinned to it? Horrible decision on their part, and I think it's going to

I agree with the sentiment that too many startups are working to solve problems that don't really exist, but what irks me even more is that so many of today's startups are working not to make the world a better place, but to find better way
