I just started using Meteor and love it, but I'm not sure your post delivers on the title. My only real beef so far has been dealing with errors, many of which offer very general explanations and make it difficult to troubleshoot. That said

Any chance this is a way to trim fat without actually laying people off? Easier to get rid of the slackers if they quit.

I worked for an ad agency in Florida and I can tell you that the meetings were an excuse for the account managers and owner to feel like they were being productive, all while the doers had to spend extra time before/after work in order to c

Great article, but horrible headline. The headline should be: 'How Techcrunch, tech media, and investors contribute to startup depression.'

Were you to say ambition instead, I would agree. Grandiosity is a term used by people that are afraid of the risks associated with achievement.

In many cases, Paypal is complying with the law, not the other way around. Paypal spends a lot of time/money on risk management. If they see a lot of money being funneled into the US, they are required to report and/or take action. It's as

The fact that it (authors making less via GPL) hasn't happened doesn't make it a non-issue. It just means it hasn't happened yet. I agree it's impossible to prevent, but any rational individual will try their best to stop it until the work

Well I don't often do consulting work, but that's actually covered because the GPL does not apply to 'work for hire.' I don't attend WordCamps or contribute to core, so it doesn't affect me, but it does bother me that the platform I'm build
