China is just US public enemy #1 because it's a geopolitical and economic threat. The US doesn't want to export data to them for free. It's funny America sometimes gives China flak for banning Google/FB/etc because

That's interesting, I think a lot of people may use their Quest a lot often because of that hurdle to put on the headset (or charge batteries, etc). This is sort of a self-plug, but we're experimenting with the idea of an app that

"abusing" is not the right word, but they definitely can make it impossible to compete in many areas. Let's say you made a laptop tray and sold on Amazon, it did well! Then Amazon sees it, makes their own laptop tray, subsidi

One issue is they run a marketplace platform where they also sell and push their own products on that platform. People sell products on the platform, Amazon gathers data, and eventually undercuts them out. They can exploit their 50% market

Yeah, I don't really blame them for taking control of their citizens' data and keeping the revenue within borders versus shipping it out to American corporations.

Relatively small, but their margins are way better. Of course they haven't overtaken Luxottica, but they are growing quick and are still businesses in the billions. I think online eyewear sales and awareness have been spiking over the

As with much of the economy, it's winner-take-all. I would put Zenni Optical alongside Luxottica as the duopoly at the moment. Warby is popular, but it's driven a lot by marketing and VC.
