So you can switch between different inputs such as multiple game consoles, DVD-player, Apple-tv/Roku/whatnot, computer/chromecast, etc. You can get splitters but that's still not as convenient as just being able to switc

Actually, mine was a bit cheaper! It's 55" 4k but no HDR. It was ~$850 CAD. At the time, LG's equivalent (spec-wise, as far as I could tell) "consumer" smart-tv was ~$1000. The model I linked here, is $1000 CAD o

LG sells them as some of their "Business" tvs, intended e.g. for hotels. In Canada some of them are branded as "Commercial Lite". Here's an LG 65" 4k HDR dumb TV: https://www.lg.com/ca_en/

LG still makes them, if you carefully navigate to their Business "Commercial Lite" or digital-signage options. I love my 55" 4k dumb TV. But you might not get some high-end features like HDR.

I'd love to try a keyboard where the keys are a bit wider and with a bit more space between them than normal. Probably bad but still, I'd like to try.

I can agree that .com is cluttered (with non-companies, even), and that a wider and semantic namespace could be a good thing. But in my example -- I can't imagine a site that belongs under exactly one of these TLDs. So any site that f

I think this is borrowing a convention from Perl, where the variable $_ is often given an implicit value of "the thing I'm talking about" when you didn't bother to give a real variable name for it. http://www.

I played a bunch of Populous on Amiga as a young child, thinking a lot about ideas of God and civilization. It was a very unique experience for me to play that game; an awesome and terrifying feeling. It didn't explain anything. You

I think the argument is that mail is an essential service (e.g. for voting) that the government has a mandate to provide to communities that the private sector would not bother to service because it would not be profitable for them to do so
